Euro Manganese Inc. (EMN on TSX-V and ASX; EUMNF on OTCQX) is a Canadian public company focused exclusively on the development of a new high purity manganese production facility, based on the recycling of a tailings deposit located in the Czech Republic. 


With the development of the Chvaletice Manganese Project in the heart of Europe, we aim to establish a reliable producer of very high purity electrolytic manganese metal and manganese sulfate to satisfy the needs of sophisticated producers of lithium-ion battery precursor materials, as well as specialty steel and aluminum alloys. Given the recent technological developments and the anticipated growth in electric vehicle demand, as well as the quality and ideal location of the Chvaletice Manganese Project, we are very well positioned to play an important role in this industry.  We stand to become a leading international producer of high purity manganese products, as well as Europe’s only primary producer of these products.

Marco Romero - President & CEO, Director
Marco Romero is an entrepreneur with over 39 years of experience in the technical services, mining and construction materials industries. He has held leadership roles in exploration, mine planning and operations, permitting and finance, as well as project and corporate development. He co-founded several Canadian companies, including Eldorado Gold, Polaris Materials, Delta Gold, and Euro Manganese. He has received several international, national and regional awards for achievements in corporate social responsibility and environmental excellence.

Martina Blahova – Chief Financial Officer
Martina Blahova has 20 years of international experience in finance; including public practice with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young in the Czech Republic and England. She held senior positions in automotive and mining industry as a corporate controller at Euro Manganese Inc, Manager of Financial Reporting at SSR Mining Inc. and FP&A manager for KS Kolbenschmidt Inc., a Czech subsidiary of the Rheinmetall Group AG, and consulted Canadian public and private companies in senior finance roles and with transition to IFRS. Martina is a member of CPA Canada (CGA) and of ACCA (UK) and holds Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic, and from the Université d'Orléans, France.
Fausto Taddei - VP Corporate Development and Corporate Secretary
For more than thirty years, Fausto Taddei has held senior financial executive positions, primarily with development and operating public companies in the mining and resource industries.  These include roles as chief financial officer of Nevsun Resources Ltd., Aura Minerals Inc. and Western Canadian Coal Corp.  He has been involved in the copper, gold and bulk commodities business, with multiple mining operations, responsible for financing, treasury functions, off-take arrangements, tax planning and public company reporting and governance matters.   Fausto earned his B.Comm. degree from the University of British Columbia in 1982 and qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA) in 1985.
Andrea Zaradic, Vice President, Operations
Andrea Zaradic has over 30 years of experience in corporate, project and business development in the mining and renewable energy industries, having worked throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe.  Previous senior roles include: President and CEO of Northair Silver, President and CEO of Troon Ventures Ltd., VP Operations and Development for Magma Energy Corp., Construction and Senior Process Operations Engineer for BHP Billiton and Manager of Infrastructure Development for Canico Resource Corp. in relation to the Onca Puma nickel laterite project in Brazil. She now serves on the board of Kootenay Silver and Reservoir Capital and serves as a Technical Advisor to Northleaf Capital in relation to their geothermal investments.  Andrea holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a registered Professional Engineer in the provinces of British Columbia and Ontario.
Jan Votava - Managing Director of Mangan Chvaletice s.r.o.
Jan Votava is a highly skilled and respected Czech engineer and executive leader who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering. For 17 years, he held various managerial roles at LafargeHolcim, the world’s largest construction materials company. These roles included Head of Transformation Team for Europe, Technical Director for Central Europe, Executive Chairman and Managing Director for the Czech Republic, and he oversaw, among other activities, quarrying and cement production. He also recently played a leadership role with the team that constructed a €250 million cement plant in Hungary for Lafarge using Chinese technology, equipment, engineering and construction companies, and he led the team in optimizing and developing the operation. He is now responsible for leading EMN’s activities in the Czech Republic, for its organizational and reputational development, as well as for Project permitting and development.
Thomas Glück - Chief Technology Officer 
Thomas Glück has a 35-year track record of successful development and operation of production facilities in the mining and chemicals processing industries.  For 23 years he undertook various development, management and leadership roles for Manganese Metal Company, a subsidiary of BHP Billiton, the world’s leading producer of high purity, selenium-free EMM.  He holds a B.Sc. and PhD in Chemical Engineering for high purity manganese oxide development from the University of the Witwatersrand.  He has managed the strategic manganese development program of a significant base metal project for Baja Mining that included extensive laboratory and pilot scale test work for manganese and cobalt electrowinning. In 2013, Thomas started a Canadian-based consulting company that specializes in the implementation of best practices in project, process, product and systems development for entrepreneurial companies in the resource and other sectors. Thomas is based in Vancouver, Canada. 
Wenling Sun - Strategic Director, China
Wenling Sun is a highly experienced mining industry professional with an 18-year track record in China, covering mining project development, metal trading, pricing and trade structure, as well as project management and financing. She managed the development of the first bio-heap copper and nickel leaching projects in China. She also played a key role in several international mine and process plant developments. Until joining EMN, Mme. Sun ran an active consulting practice, advising international clients on the procurement of Chinese technology, equipment and services. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Renmin University of China. She divides her time between Europe and China.
Gary Nordin - Chief Geologist
Gary Nordin is a leading exploration geologist with a long and storied history of identifying, evaluating and developing successful mining projects around the world, including the Refugio Mine, La Colorada Mine, Kisladag Mine and the Orca Sand Quarry. During the last 40 years, Mr. Nordin has been a co-founder and director of several public companies including Bema Gold, Eldorado Gold, Polaris Materials, Orestone Mining, Nevada Pacific Gold, Delta Gold and Galileo Minerals. 
Dr. David Dreisinger - Independent Director
Dr. David Dreisinger is a Professor and Chairholder of the Industrial Research Chair in Hydrometallurgy at the University of British Columbia. He has published over 300 papers and is co-inventor of 21 U.S. patents for work in hydrometallurgical research. He runs an active international consulting practice focused on various major hydrometallurgical projects and plants. His previous experience includes director positions at PolyMet Mining, Search Minerals, LeadFX, Cascadero Copper Corp. and officer positions with Camrova Resources, Clifton Star Resources and South American Silver.

Gregory P. Martyr - Independent Director
Greg Martyr became a director of the Company in March 2018.  He is an experienced resource industry banker, advisor and corporate executive. Mr. Martyr has over 30 years’ experience in resources investment banking and corporate finance, as well as the management of international mining companies. From 2011 to 2016, Mr. Martyr was a Managing Director with Standard Chartered Bank ultimately as the Global Head of Advisory, Mining and Metals. From 2005 until its 2011 acquisition by Standard Chartered Bank, he was a partner with Gryphon Partners, a boutique resource advisory firm.  From 1994 to 2003, he was employed in several executive roles by Normandy Mining Ltd., including President, Americas. Prior to that he held positions with Deutsche Bank and Morgan Grenfell. Mr. Martyr obtained a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Thomas M. Stepien - Independent Director
Thomas Stepien has over 30 years of global high technology management, operations and engineering experience at small and large companies. He is currently CEO of Primus Power, a battery energy storage company headquartered in California’s Silicon Valley.  Prior to co-founding Primus, he was a VP at semiconductor equipment manufacturer Applied Materials.  Tom earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a co-inventor on numerous patents, and a frequent speaker at energy conferences. He brings an international perspective, having led diverse teams in several countries.

John Webster - Chairman and Independent Director
John Webster is a senior finance professional who spent over 30 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers until his retirement in 2014. His former roles include BC Managing Partner, Assurance Leader in Romania and head of the firm’s mining practice in Canada. He has extensive experience as audit partner and advising private and listed clients, and he has valuable international experience with mine development projects. He is currently a director of Eldorado Gold Corporation.
Daniel Rosický 
Daniel Rosický is a senior partner at PRK Partners, a leading Czech corporate law firm. He specializes in real estate and inbound foreign investment law, including resource development. Daniel was born in the Czech Republic and educated in Canada. He has been practicing law for 23 years and is fluent in English and Czech. He is an attorney at law of the Czech Bar Association and is also admitted to the Bar in Ontario, Canada.
Harvey McLeod 
Harvey McLeod is a geotechnical engineer and a leader in the evolution and development of mine tailings management over a 40-year career, with work on over 100 tailings dams in over 20 countries. He is chairman of the ICOLD subcommittee on tailings dams and active in the Canadian Dam Association. He is currently Vice President, Strategic Marketing for Klohn Crippen Berger. In April 2017, he was inducted as a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada.
Dr. Roman Shklanka
Dr. Roman Shklanka is a geologist, mine finder and company builder who was instrumental in several important discoveries across the world. His corporate development experience includes Chairman, Director and co-founder of Sutton Resources, Canico Resource Corp, Polaris Materials, International Barytex, Kobex Resources, Delta Gold and Pacific Imperial Mines. He is also a co-founder of EMN along with Marco Romero.  Dr. Shklanka currently serves as a director of Dynasty Gold Corp.  He previously held various senior exploration positions with Placer Dome more than 20 years, including VP Exploration. He was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame in 2009.
